City of St. Augustine defeats Whetstone family on ownership of bottomlands in Matanzas Bay

Judge Howard Maltz today granted summary judgment to the City of St. Augustine, defeating the Whetstone family's bogus claim to title to bottomlands in front of one of their motels on Avenida Menendez.
This halts efforts to build a dock there.
UPDATE 9/12: Judge Maltz's 24 page order is scholarly, thorough and appeal-proof! We are encouraged by what we have read!
Viva!
Three cheers for the St. Augustine City Commission, City Attorney Ron Brown, Assistant City Attorney Isabel Lopez and outside counsel.
Thank you for standing up to the one percent, and to a powerful and demanding local family that long felt it owned City Hall.
Viva!

Great news!

Let's hope it stops other frivolous lawsuits.

You mean three cheers for the St. Augustine City Commission, City Attorney Ron Brown, and Assistant City Attorney Isabel Lopez who let stand a blatantly unconstitutional law that forbids the homeless their FREE SPEECH rights to ask other citizens for assistance on the precious hijacked Saint George Street?

Pollyanna want a cracker?
